Leadership Evolution & New Strategic Milestones
Ogilvy Namibia, a cornerstone of the Namibian advertising industry since its founding in 1996 by Anny Mouton, is excited to announce a significant evolution in its leadership structure, marking a new chapter in the agency’s journey.
As part of our ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence, we are proud to share that Megan Pritchard will take on the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ogilvy Namibia. Megan, who celebrates her 10-year anniversary with the agency on 1 October, was appointed as a shareholder in July 2024. She has played a pivotal role as Operations Director for the past three years, contributing to the agency’s operational success and strategic growth. As CEO, Megan will now focus on long-term strategies, financial stewardship, and driving the operational vision of the business.
Rozanne van der Merwe, who succeeded Anny Mouton as Managing Director in 2017, will continue in her role, ensuring the seamless management of Ogilvy Namibia and building the brands we represent. "Megan has been instrumental in shaping the operational backbone of this agency," said Rozanne. "Her leadership and insight have already contributed so much to Ogilvy Namibia's success, and I’m excited to see how she will drive our future vision as CEO. Together, we are committed to strengthening the creative and strategic impact we deliver to our clients.”
This exciting leadership transition comes just one week after the successful launch of the Ogilvy Academy, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at shaping the future of creative talent in Namibia. Launched in partnership with the prestigious Red & Yellow Creative School of Business, the Ogilvy Academy will be run by Anny Mouton, reinforcing her enduring impact on the agency and the broader Namibian industry.
